The youth wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, has commended the recent Aerodrome Certification awarded to Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, as a testament to Governor Peter Mbah's exceptional leadership in the state.
Days ago, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) issued the first-ever international certification to the Akanu Ibiam Airport, Enugu. Reacting to this milestone, the National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, stated that the certification further solidifies Enugu's status as a growing hub for business and investment opportunities.
Okwu highlighted that Governor Mbah's comprehensive reforms across all sectors have elevated Enugu's global profile. He remarked: "The development prowess of His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, has made Enugu a cynosure of all eyes; the coal city is now a destination choice for businesses and investments."
He added: "We now expect other international airlines, including cargo planes, to land at Enugu Airport. Governor Peter Mbah has laid a solid foundation and put enabling infrastructures and security in place for businesses to thrive."
On behalf of Ohanaeze youths, Okwu hailed the governor for this historic achievement, which has once again placed Enugu on the world map. "Enugu people are witnessing excellence in leadership as demonstrated by Governor Peter Mbah's visionary and proactive administration. Posterity will not forget this indelible legacy. Once more, we say that it is truly investment O'clock in Enugu State, and we congratulate the governor on this historic landmark," he concluded.
