Access Holdings Appoints New CEOs for Pension and Lending Units

Access Holdings Plc has announced the appointment of Sa’adu Jijji as the Chief Executive Officer of Access ARM Pensions, and Abiodun Adigun as the Managing Director of Oxygen X Finance Company Limited, the group’s digital lending subsidiary. These appointments have received the requisite regulatory approvals, Access Holdings disclosed in a regulatory filing on Thursday.

Strategic Leadership Enhancement

Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, Chairman of the financial services group, stated that this move reflects the company’s deliberate investment in building a stronger executive talent pool. “As we continue our strategic evolution from scale to value, the quality of leadership across our businesses becomes an increasingly important differentiator,” he said.

With these appointments, the company is “ensuring that we have the leadership capacity required to drive superior execution, innovation, governance, and sustainable value creation,” he added. According to him, the appointments reinforce the company’s commitment to developing globally competitive financial services businesses powered by exceptional talent.

Profile of Sa’adu Jijji

Mr. Jijji is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in pension fund administration, investment management, actuarial consulting, and corporate strategy. He has held senior leadership positions at leading financial institutions, including Premium Pension Limited, Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries Nigeria, and Pension Alliance Limited, where he served as Acting Managing Director/CEO. In that capacity, he oversaw pension assets exceeding N1.2 trillion and delivered strong outcomes in growth, operational effectiveness, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Jijji holds an MBA from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University. Access Holdings said his appointment reflects the group’s determination to further strengthen its position within Nigeria’s pension industry, while deepening customer trust, investment performance, and long-term stakeholder value.

Profile of Abiodun Adigun

Mr. Adigun has over two decades of experience in financial services, with profound expertise in business development, sales leadership, credit, customer experience, and business transformation. Before his appointment at Oxygen X, he served as the Country Sales Head/Chief Marketing Officer at Credit Direct Finance Company Limited.

At Credit Direct Finance Company, Mr. Adigun led significant business expansion, strengthened market positioning, and drove strategic diversification initiatives. He holds an MBA from China Europe International Business School, Shanghai, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a member of the Institute of Sales and Marketing UK. Mr. Adigun has also completed executive programmes in digital leadership and transformation at globally recognised institutions, including Imperial College, London and Singapore Management University.
