Grace Oyeniyi, Human Resources Director and Practice Development Manager at Bloomfield Law Practice, one of Lagos's premier law firms, has been elected and invested as Vice President of the Association of Law Firm Administrators of Nigeria (ALAN). ALAN is Nigeria's leading professional body dedicated to advancing the business of law, equipping the administrative, operational, and business-development professionals who sustain the efficiency and profitability of law firms, corporate legal departments, and government legal agencies across the country. The investiture ceremony took place recently in Lagos.
Recognition of Excellence
Oyeniyi's election to the association's second-highest office acknowledges her distinguished contributions to legal practice management. At Bloomfield Law Practice, she has built a reputation for excellence in human capital development, operational strategy, and institutional growth, embodying the values that ALAN champions. Her selection underscores the growing recognition that administrative and business-development leadership is foundational to legal practice.
Commitment to Elevating Standards
Speaking after her investiture, Oyeniyi expressed gratitude to the association's membership and reaffirmed her commitment to elevating standards across Nigeria's legal management profession. "Our legal institutions are only as strong as the systems and people behind them," she said. "I am honored to serve and to champion the professionals who keep justice operational."
The investiture ceremony included the citation of officers, investiture charge, administration of the oath of office, and presentation of certificates, marking the official assumption of responsibilities by the new leadership team. Other elected officers include Modupe Olusoga as President; Bisong Obi-Akatachak as Treasurer; Emmanuel Abegunde as Financial Secretary; Angela Emy-Ngoye as Secretary; and Stella Ehimare as Assistant Secretary. The new officers are expected to provide strategic direction, governance oversight, financial stewardship, and administrative leadership for the Association during the 2026–2029 tenure.
