NPF Pensions Urges Improved Support for Police Officers

NPF Pensions Limited has called for greater recognition and support for officers and personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, stating that their sacrifices in protecting lives and property remain vital to national stability.

Call for Improved Welfare

The pension firm made the call as it marked the 2026 International Workers' Day, noting that police personnel continue to operate under difficult and hazardous conditions to maintain peace and order amid growing security challenges across the country.

In a statement signed by its Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Muhammed Dutse, the company described police officers as symbols of patriotism and selfless service to the nation. Dutse said that despite the risks associated with their duties, many officers remain committed to protecting citizens and preserving public safety.

Call for Professionalism
