LASAA Launches Digital Directory and One App for Advertising
LASAA Launches Digital Directory and One App for Adverts

Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has unveiled a digital directory for practitioners and billboard assets, as well as the LASAA One App, aimed at streamlining advertising services across the state. The launch event took place in Lagos, with the Managing Director, Prince Fatiu Akiolu, highlighting the initiative as a digital foundation for the expanding out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry.

Digital Backbone for OOH Sector

Akiolu stated that the OOH landscape has experienced significant growth and complexity over the years. He emphasized that the new digital directory and app bring structure to this growth by transforming regulation into a searchable and transparent system. This allows practitioners to be clearly identified, assets to be verified, and interactions with the agency to become simpler and faster.

He noted that the directory serves as a credible register of both practitioners and advertising assets in Lagos, while the app provides stakeholders with access to LASAA services anytime and anywhere. The platform promotes transparency, accountability, and service efficiency by offering a single source of truth for practitioners, advertisers, media buyers, regulators, and the public.

Enhanced Transparency and Efficiency

According to Akiolu, users can search, verify, and engage without friction. They can interact with LASAA without visiting an office and confirm legitimacy without making a phone call. This digital shift is expected to reduce manual processes and improve compliance monitoring.

Head of Client Service and Registration, Temitope Akande, added that the initiative was driven by the need for more precise, transparent, and efficient regulation in a fast-growing megacity like Lagos. He acknowledged that as the city expanded and the OOH industry evolved, information became fragmented, verification remained manual, and compliance monitoring grew more complex. The new tools aim to address these challenges.
