All On's Clean Energy Investments Transform Over 1 Million Lives in Nigeria
All On's Clean Energy Reaches Over 1 Million Nigerians

In a significant milestone for Nigeria's renewable energy sector, impact investment firm All On has announced that its initiatives have now positively affected the lives of more than one million Nigerians. The revelation comes from the company's recently published Impact Evaluation Report for 2025, which details the tangible outcomes of its strategy to expand access to reliable and affordable clean energy across the nation.

Strategic Investments Yield Widespread Impact

The report, which covers the evaluation period from 2018 to 2024, shows that All On deployed capital and support to a wide array of enterprises. The company invested directly in over 50 clean energy businesses and extended grants and technical assistance to more than 80 enterprises. This comprehensive support system was instrumental in connecting over 230,000 households, businesses, and public facilities to sustainable power sources.

This intervention did more than just provide electricity; it strengthened the entire ecosystem. Energy providers saw their operational capacities grow, while end-users benefited from improved service reliability and better affordability. The report underscores that before All On began its operations in 2016, nearly half of Nigeria's population was without electricity, and the sector suffered from a crippling 92 percent annual funding gap.

Holistic Model Drives Market Transformation

Faced with this challenge, All On adopted a bold, risk-tolerant approach. The company's CEO, Caroline Eboumbou, emphasized that their model combines patient capital, technical expertise, and active ecosystem engagement. "This report confirms that our approach is delivering real results," Eboumbou stated. "We are enabling scalable and sustainable energy solutions for Nigeria’s unserved and underserved communities."

A cornerstone of their strategy has been flagship programmes like the Demand Aggregation for Renewable Technology (DART) initiative. This programme helped slash procurement costs for supported businesses by up to 50 percent, allowing developers to expand more rapidly and pass the savings on to consumers.

The social and environmental benefits are profound. The report notes that half of the supported households experienced better air quality, increased safety, and less noise pollution, leading to enhanced health and overall quality of life.

Catalyzing Broader Sector Growth

All On's influence extends beyond direct beneficiaries to catalyze the entire market. Since 2018, the number of active energy players in Nigeria has doubled. Furthermore, total sector investment has nearly tripled, skyrocketing from $90 million to over $250 million. Companies that received support from All On reported that it boosted their credibility and visibility, opening doors to additional financing and valuable partnerships.

Looking to the future, All On plans to scale its proven models, build local capacity, and extend its reach, with a particular focus on underserved regions like the Niger Delta. With a solid track record and a clear plan, the organization is poised to lead the next stage of Nigeria's transition to clean energy.
