Kumuyi announced the honour on Sunday, August 2, 2026, via his official X account, @pastorwf_kumuyi. The recognition follows the impact of his Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) initiative, which, according to the clergyman, reached over 50 million lives and recorded more than 900,000 conversions.
