Nigerian Man in Canada Shares How OPM Pastor Transformed His Life After Visa Denials
A Nigerian man residing in Canada has come forward with a powerful testimony about how Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), dramatically changed his life trajectory after he faced repeated visa rejections from multiple countries. This revelation comes amid ongoing social media discussions surrounding the recent wedding of the pastor's autistic adopted son.
From Visa Rejections to Renewed Hope
Ekeke Victor, a Canada-based architect, took to his Facebook page to share his emotional journey, detailing how Apostle Chibuzor provided unwavering support during his most challenging period. Victor described himself as "one of his most difficult projects" and explained how the pastor stood by him despite numerous obstacles.
"I went through a lot after so many visa denials and five years of patience," Victor wrote. "I was denied American visa, UK visa, Canadian visa, Israel visa, Kuwait visa, Turkey visa, Belarus visa, Cyprus visa, Dubai visa expired in my hand. But still he never gave up."
Practical Support and Personal Accommodation
The architect revealed that Apostle Chibuzor went beyond spiritual guidance to provide tangible assistance, including renewing his passport twice and offering personal accommodation. "He renewed my passport two good times he accommodated me in his own personal house," Victor shared, emphasizing the pastor's commitment to seeing projects through to completion regardless of difficulties.
Victor's testimony highlights what he describes as the pastor's selfless leadership, stating: "He is more than a father to me. He never stops a project unfinished no matter how difficult your challenges is."
Educational Opportunities for Family Members
The transformation extended beyond Victor's personal circumstances to include his family. He disclosed that his twin brother is currently studying in Turkey under an OPM scholarship, while another brother is pursuing education in Benin Republic through similar support from the ministry.
"Words are not enough to describe and appreciate this great man of God," Victor expressed. "I call him my father, but he is more than that position."
Social Media Reactions and Broader Context
The testimony has generated significant engagement on social media platforms, with many users praising Apostle Chibuzor's humanitarian efforts. One commenter noted: "OPM is where tithes and offerings are changing lives positively," while another added: "God will continue to bless, protect and prosper him and his family for the immeasurable love he has for humanity."
This personal account emerges during a period of heightened attention on Omega Power Ministries, following the controversial wedding of the pastor's autistic adopted son to a mother of three. While that event sparked mixed reactions online, Victor's story shifts focus to the ministry's charitable activities and their impact on individual lives.
Victor concluded his testimony by acknowledging the role of church contributions in facilitating such transformations: "Your tithes is being used to transform and change lives by our God-sent General." He also announced that a video testimony would be released soon to further share his experience with a wider audience.
