Olu Alo Hails Ewi of Ado at 80, 35 Years on Throne

Renowned Nigerian cleric Prophet Sam Olu Alo has extended warm congratulations to the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, Aladesanmi III, as the traditional ruler celebrates two significant milestones: his 80th birthday and 35 years on the throne.

Tribute to a Visionary Leader

In an official statement released through his Personal Assistant, Hon. Deji Ogunbusuyi, from Jesus City along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos, Prophet Olu Alo commended the monarch's exceptional leadership qualities. The cleric described Oba Adejugbe's reign as both progressive and peaceful, highlighting the remarkable development Ado-Ekiti has experienced under his guidance.

Prophet Alo characterized the Ewi as an intelligent, compassionate, and visionary leader who has successfully steered the ancient city and its surrounding communities toward sustained growth for more than three decades. According to the religious leader, Oba Adejugbe epitomizes success in every aspect of leadership.

Landmark Achievements During 35-Year Reign

The cleric emphasized that the monarch's tenure witnessed the historic creation of Ekiti State, which he noted opened doors for rapid development across the region. Prophet Alo stated, "He is a great leader of his people, intelligent, cerebral, loving, having a large heart and great wisdom to administer Ado-Ekiti and its surrounding communities in such a progressive, development-oriented and fruitful way in 35 years and still counting."

Among the significant accomplishments highlighted were:

The prophet noted that Oba Adejugbe has brought great fortunes to Ekiti State during his three-and-a-half decades on the throne of his ancestors.

Prophet Olu Alo also extended congratulations to the Eyesorun of Ado-Ekiti, Olori Bosede Adejugbe, praising her unwavering support for the monarch throughout the years. He described her as "like the rock of Gibraltar standing solidly behind the Kabiyesi all these years."

The cleric also acknowledged the contributions of members of the Ewi-in-Council, referring to them as eminent and respected chiefs who have assisted the Ewi in providing sound and functional direction for the affairs of Ado-Ekiti.

Prophet Alo concluded his message with prayers for continued peace and progress during the monarch's reign. Additionally, he disclosed plans to support his local government area, Ido-Osi in Ekiti State, by providing assistance aimed at boosting security operations in the coming days.
