The second edition of the Pastor Senior Gabriel Okpako (SGO) Uyeh Public Lecture Series is set to take place this weekend, featuring a prominent former Lagos State official as the keynote speaker.

The lecture is scheduled for Saturday, January 17, and will be held on the premises of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, LAWMNA Territory, located in Ketu, Lagos State. The guest speaker for this significant occasion is Toyin Ayinde, a respected youth mentor and former Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development.
Ayinde, who also serves as the second Deputy President of the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN), will address the timely topic: “The Place and Impact of Christian Youth in National Transformation and Development.”
Purpose and Vision of the Lecture Series
According to a statement issued by Pastor Tunde Adebisi on behalf of the church’s Media/Publicity Committee, this lecture series is a key initiative of the SGO Uyeh Foundation. It aims to contribute to Church Growth, Christian Development, and a steadfast commitment to National Development.
The statement elaborated that the event is designed to immortalise the incumbent Chairman of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, LAWMNA Territory, Pastor Gabriel Okpako Uyeh, and to uphold the values he exemplifies in church leadership. Furthermore, the lecture seeks to provide valuable insights, particularly educating the youth and raising awareness about socio-spiritual matters and the challenges inherent in nation-building.

The occasion will be chaired by Pastor Lawrence Olusesan Oladele, the National President of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN). The event is expected to attract other top Christian leaders and dignitaries from various sectors of society.
