SAHCO Launches Science Lab Initiative for Education

Skyway Aviation Handling Company Plc (SAHCO) has deepened its commitment to education with the launch of a science laboratory initiative. The initiative, part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, aims to upgrade school laboratories to enhance science education.

SAHCO's Commitment to Education

Speaking at the launch, the company’s Executive Director of Business Development, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi, stated that the initiative reflects SAHCO’s broader vision of empowering communities through education and capacity building. He noted that education is the bedrock of societal growth, driving innovation and community development beyond personal success.

According to him, the project marks a significant milestone in SAHCO’s ongoing efforts to support educational advancement in communities where it operates. “Science education equips young minds with the ability to question, to explore, and to solve real-world problems. However, effective science education requires more than textbooks and theory; it requires access to modern tools, practical experiences, and an environment that inspires curiosity and discovery,” Afolabi said.
