Shortly after arriving, she began to feel unwell, complaining of weakness before unexpectedly collapsing. Sympathizers at the scene made frantic efforts to revive her, but these attempts proved unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead on the spot. Her child, who was inside the examination hall at the time, remained unaware of the tragic development unfolding outside.

A resident of the area, who knew the deceased as "Mummy Ayo," revealed that she had mentioned earlier that morning about accompanying her daughter to the UTME center.
