The expert explained that the process begins after receiving an admission offer from a Canadian institution. To accept the offer, students typically need to pay a deposit, which can range from 2,000 Canadian dollars to the full-year tuition. Using a benchmark of 8,000 Canadian dollars, equivalent to approximately 8,480,000 naira at an exchange rate of 1,060 naira per Canadian dollar, this deposit often serves as the first semester's tuition. The expert emphasized that paying more than the minimum deposit can increase visa approval chances.
Once the deposit is confirmed, the institution issues key documents like the letter of acceptance and provincial attestation letter, required for the visa application.
