Unique Tripartite Structure and Top Graduates

Ademuwagun highlighted that AFIT remains the only institution in Nigeria operating a tripartite structure, combining military training with polytechnic and university education under one roof. This unique positioning enhances its role in providing comprehensive technical and academic training.

Three students were named overall best graduates, each achieving near-perfect Cumulative Grade Point Averages (CGPAs) of 4.99:

Future Expansion and Immediate Certificate Issuance

Looking ahead, the commandant announced plans to expand the institute's postgraduate offerings. Specifically, AFIT aims to increase its master's degree programmes from two to twelve in the next academic session, further strengthening its academic scope.

Additionally, all graduates will receive their original certificates immediately after convocation, a practice that supports timely career progression. Engineering graduates will also be inducted by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, ensuring professional recognition and standards.

This graduation event underscores AFIT's commitment to fostering academic excellence and technological innovation in Nigeria, contributing to the nation's development in aerospace, engineering, and related fields.
