The 2026 edition of the Empower Her Voice Conference witnessed a robust turnout in Enugu, uniting students, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders for a full day of engaging dialogues centred on leadership, enterprise, and personal development. Held at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, the event was convened by Emmanuel Anabueze, founder of the Humanitarian Achievement and Outreach Foundation, with a primary aim of equipping young women with practical tools to thrive in an increasingly competitive environment.
Structured Platforms for Female Advancement Emphasised
Opening the conference, Prof. Rebecca Nnamani, Dean of Student Affairs, underscored the critical importance of structured platforms that actively support female advancement and student development. She noted that intentional engagement remains a key driver in unlocking the latent potential of young women, setting a tone of empowerment for the day's proceedings.

A series of speakers followed, offering rich perspectives shaped by both professional expertise and personal journeys. Amb. Dr. Chinwe Lilian urged participants to adopt a proactive approach to leadership, emphasising that preparation and self-belief serve as essential foundations for success. Onyekachi Ezeh, addressing brand development and experiential impact, highlighted execution as the defining factor that transforms ideas into tangible results, encouraging attendees to channel their creativity into actionable outcomes.
Similarly, Mrs. Ifeoma Ezechukwu drew from her entrepreneurial experiences to advocate for consistency and incremental growth, stressing that meaningful ventures often commence on a modest scale and build momentum over time.
