Vice-Chancellor Addresses Ceremony
Presiding over the ceremony at the main campus, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdur-Rahman Oladele Abdullah highlighted that the matriculation is more than a registration exercise; it is a commitment to academic excellence and moral discipline. He urged students to uphold the university's values throughout their studies.
Parents Consultative Assembly Inaugurated
In a significant administrative step, University Chancellor Barrister Azeez Folorunso Alatoye officially inaugurated the Parents Consultative Assembly (PCA). The PCA aims to foster direct communication between the university and parents, making guardians active stakeholders in institutional development. It seeks to align academic goals with family expectations and support.
The ceremony drew a distinguished audience, including Governing Council members, principal officers, and community leaders. Registrar Oluyide Olu-Lawal described the event as a landmark for the region, emphasizing the university's dedication to academic excellence, moral discipline, and responsible citizenship.
