The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP 2.0) has announced a significant milestone in its ongoing recruitment process, with more than 25,000 applicants across the country having successfully completed the mandatory Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Massive Participation in Merit-Based Assessment
Official data released by the programme organisers confirms that a total of 25,112 graduates nationwide have attempted and finished the CBT as part of the transparent selection process. The assessment is designed to ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all Nigerian youth applying for the coveted fellowship.
In a statement, the NJFP team expressed appreciation for the commitment shown by applicants. “We sincerely appreciate the commitment and patience of all applicants as Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme 2.0 continues to move forward,” the programme stated. Officials also confirmed that thousands more graduates are still actively participating in the ongoing assessment, with tests continuing across various centers.
NJFP 2.0: A Bridge to Meaningful Employment
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme 2.0 is a federal government initiative supported by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Its core mission is to act as a vital bridge, connecting fresh graduates with real-world work experience and fully paid, 12-month internships in both public and private sector organisations.
The programme aims to ease the difficult transition from academia to the professional world. By providing practical experience, mentorship, and exposure, the NJFP equips young Nigerians with the skills needed to build lasting careers and contribute to national development.

Building on the success of its first phase, which began placements in October 2022, NJFP 2.0 represents a renewed and scaled-up national effort. The new phase leverages digital technology for programme delivery and aims to place 23,724 fellows, positioning itself as Nigeria's premier platform for youth employability and workforce transformation.
The application portal for this cycle opened on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, as announced via the programme's official X handle. The NJFP continues to be a critical intervention in a complex labour market, offering a structured pathway for high-potential graduates to access meaningful career opportunities and entrepreneurial support.
