During the 56th Founder's Day celebration held at the school's premises over the weekend, the association officially commissioned a state-of-the-art e-library valued at N100 million, generously donated by the 1979/80 alumni set for the exclusive use of the school's students.

Dr. Segun Abe, the President of the OCHS alumni association, expressed profound gratitude to various alumni sets who have commissioned projects for the school's development. He specifically thanked individual leaders who have attracted and constructed significant projects to enhance the educational environment. Abe praised both past and present teachers for their labor and sacrifices, which have produced accomplished individuals across diverse fields of human endeavor.
