The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Folasade Ogunsola, has publicly commended Midas Interiors Limited and its Chief Executive Officer, Mabel Nwanegbu, for a significant infrastructure donation to the institution.

The commendation came during the official commissioning on 20 December 2025 of a newly upgraded male sanitary facility at the Department of Chemical Engineering. The project, which was fully designed and executed by Midas Interiors Limited, replaces an old, outdated structure. It now offers contemporary fittings, enhanced functionality, and significantly improved hygiene standards for the department's students and staff.
Professor Ogunsola emphasized the critical link between physical learning environments and student development. The VC noted that institutions dedicated to producing well-rounded graduates must invest in spaces that reflect dignity, discipline, and high standards.
