Dr. Idongesit Timothy Ekpo, a recent graduate from the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), has celebrated a remarkable academic achievement by earning her medical degree with multiple distinctions, exactly ten years after being named the best student in her secondary school.
From Secondary School Valedictorian to Medical Doctor
In 2016, Idongesit Timothy Ekpo was honored as the valedictorian of Beulah International School, her secondary school. At that time, she often pondered what the future might hold for her. A decade later, she has not only been inducted into the medical profession but has also graduated with top honors in several key medical fields.

In her social media post, she reflected on her journey, stating, "Ten years ago, I was named Valedictorian of my secondary school, Beulah International School. At the time, I often wondered what the future would look like. Today, a decade later, I am being inducted as a Medical Doctor, graduating with these honors. I am deeply grateful to God, my parents, mentors, teachers, and everyone who believed in me and supported me through this journey. The dream continues and this is only the beginning."
