Olukayode Oladapo Temikotan, a candidate in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), has publicly shared his result after checking it, revealing that he achieved the same score of 201 points as he did in the 2025 examination. The young man, who aspires to study political science, wrote the UTME on the first day of the nationwide exercise, which commenced on Thursday, April 16, 2026, and is scheduled to run until April 22 across 966 accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers, with over 2.2 million participants this year.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, April 19, Olukayode posted a screenshot of his UTME result, detailing his scores: 53 in English, 53 in economics, 48 in government, and 47 in Christian Religious Studies (CRS), which collectively sum to 201 points. He admitted in his post that he is not happy with this outcome, but he expressed gratitude to God and optimism about gaining admission this time. He wrote, "Scored 201 last year and scored 201 this year, though am not happy but I still thank God and I believe this year is mine."
