Dominik Mysterio's net worth is estimated at $2 million as of 2026, according to Sports Illustrated and The Times of India. The 29-year-old WWE superstar, born Dominik Óscar Gutiérrez, has built his fortune through wrestling, performance bonuses, brand deals, and appearance fees, rising every time he steps through the curtain as "Dirty Dom."
Dominik Mysterio's Salary and Income Sources
Dominik Mysterio earns an estimated annual salary of $350,000 from WWE, which is the revised minimum pay for main roster talent, according to reports. This base figure excludes bonuses from Pay-Per-View and Premium Live Event appearances, plus performance incentives.
His income streams include brand deals, such as a collaboration with Wingstop, WWE merchandise sales, and appearances in WWE 2K video games since 2022. Winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 significantly boosted his merchandise revenue. He also supports charity work with Make-A-Wish.
By 2023, Dominik had signed a new multi-year WWE contract, speculated to run until around 2028, likely featuring performance incentives and structured pay increases.
From Child Star to Heel Turn
Dominik is a third-generation wrestler, following his father Rey Mysterio and great-uncle Rey Mysterio Sr. He first appeared in WWE in 2005 at age eight in a custody storyline involving Rey and the late Eddie Guerrero. WWE paid him $5,000 for one childhood appearance, which his parents saved. He revealed on the Intoxicados Podcast: "I got paid, as a kid, five grand. That was just for one of the events."
He made his in-ring debut against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2020, then teamed with his father to become the first father-son WWE Tag Team Champions. In 2022, he turned on Rey and joined The Judgment Day, evolving under Finn Bálor, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest.
Championships and WrestleMania 41 Glory
Dominik is a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and a one-time AAA Mega Champion. He won the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania 41 in April 2025, defeating Bron Breakker, Finn Bálor, and Penta in a four-way match. He told CBS Sports: "It's super validating. The fact that it's my first Mania competing for a singles title. It's also my first Mania without my deadbeat dad anywhere around me. It's definitely an accomplishment for me."
Despite being a hated heel, the Las Vegas crowd cheered him after his victory. At the post-show, as reported by Cageside Seats, he said: "I feel like I've solidified myself. Everyone was saying, 'You'll never be able to fill Rey's shoes. You'll never be bigger than Rey Mysterio.' Less than five years later, I am the greatest Mysterio of all time, the greatest Intercontinental champion of all time."
At WWE Worlds Collide in September 2025, he defeated El Hijo del Vikingo to win the AAA Mega Championship, becoming the first wrestler to hold championships in both WWE and AAA simultaneously.
Injury, Rematch, and Personal Life
Weeks after a career-defining win over John Cena at Survivor Series, Dominik suffered a shoulder injury at an AAA event, sidelining him indefinitely. Reports indicated surgery wasn't required. He lost the AAA Mega Championship to El Grande Americano at Triplemanía 34 on 13 September 2026, but earned a rematch scheduled for Héroes Inmortales on 24 October 2026 in Mexico City.
In an interview with Fightful, he said: "Whatever the company wants, I'm here for them. I'm a team player and they know that. At the end of the day, whatever is best for business is going to happen."
Dominik married Marie Juliette in 2024 after about 12 years together. They live in California, where his home is estimated to be worth $1.10 million. He has over 1.6 million Instagram followers on @dominik_35. His championship history includes one SmackDown Tag Team title with Rey, two NXT North American titles, two Intercontinental titles, and one AAA Mega Championship.
