An eyewitness and member of 2Baba’s team has revealed new details about the clash between the singer and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, at a club in Abuja on Friday, August 8, 2026. The source alleged that Natasha arrived at the venue with her brothers and up to 20 thugs, attempting to force a private conversation with the singer.
How the confrontation unfolded
According to the eyewitness, who spoke to Pulse Nigeria, 2Baba was making a guest appearance at the opening of the 90s lounge in Abuja when Natasha tried to forcefully open the door of his car to speak with him without any third party present. The team initially refused to allow the conversation because Natasha approached with force.
“I was actually by the window. I just saw somebody in black trying to force the door open. At first, I panicked because it came as a shock. She started shouting my name and began insulting me,” the eyewitness recounted.
“She said, 'I want to talk to my husband. Open the door. I want to talk to my husband.' She came with up to 20 thugs, and they ran into the compound. All this happened within less than one or two minutes.”
Security concerns and intervention
The team member explained that they had reservations about letting Natasha into the car because they did not know her intentions, especially since she arrived with thugs. “I don't know whether she's carrying anything that would threaten his life and safety, so I came down for her to join in. I told 2Baba to talk to her and let her know his stand,” he said.
He added that he left the bouncer in the car for security, but Natasha shouted at the bouncer to leave. The eyewitness then returned to the car and asked Natasha about her actions. Eventually, they allowed her to go inside the club with them to prevent the situation from escalating.
2Baba's message to Natasha
According to the eyewitness, 2Baba spoke with Natasha inside the club and told her that he was not her enemy and she was not his enemy, but that he could no longer continue the relationship. The eyewitness added that Natasha later insisted on following the singer and his team to their next destination.
“We allowed her to go inside with us so that everything can calm down and we wouldn't create a scene,” the source said. The team eventually left the club after ensuring Natasha and her associates could not follow them immediately. Some people waiting outside were allegedly prepared to join or attack them, but the team managed to leave before they could do so.
