Blord Takes Hardline Stance from Kuje Prison, Rejects Settlement with VDM

Crypto entrepreneur Linus Williams, widely known as Blord, has firmly rejected any form of settlement in his ongoing legal dispute with social media critic VDM. Currently held at Kuje Correctional Centre under a Federal High Court order, Blord declared on Monday, April 6, that he has not authorized anyone to mediate or "beg" VDM on his behalf.

No Authorization for Mediation, Says Blord

Through a representative sent by activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, Blord made his position clear during a prison visit. He strongly denied any involvement in reconciliation efforts, stating that anyone claiming to negotiate for him is acting independently. "For the record, Blord stated that he did not send anybody to beg VDM on his behalf," the representative reported.

This development comes amid growing calls from fans, celebrities, and online commentators urging VDM to forgive Blord and withdraw the case. However, Blord appears prepared for a prolonged courtroom showdown, insisting he wants the matter to run its full legal course. "He added that anyone on that mission is on his own and that he wants to see this matter to its logical conclusion," the representative added.

Calm Demeanor Amid Legal Pressure

Despite the serious legal situation, Blord was described as calm and composed during the prison meeting. The visitor disclosed that the businessman was in "very high spirits" and appreciative of Nigerians who have publicly supported him since his remand. "We just concluded a visit with Blord at Kuje prison in solidarity with Omoyele Sowore. We met him in very high spirit and he has extended his appreciation to all Nigerians who have stood with him in solidarity," he said.

Social Media Reactions and VDM's Condition

The news has sparked varied reactions on social media. User @thisiz_page questioned the narrative of oppression, while @your_favorite_shalove expressed solid support for Blord. @ifeomaamobi drew parallels with past cases, cautioning about knowing when to exit a situation.

Previously, VDM revealed he would be open to settling the matter if a specific condition is met, though details remain undisclosed. The case stems from allegations of impersonation and related charges filed by VDM, leading to Blord's remand at Kuje Correctional Centre following the Federal High Court order.

As the legal battle continues, Blord's refusal to seek a quick exit through apology or settlement suggests this celebrity feud may be headed for a definitive courtroom resolution rather than private negotiation.
