Pastor Claire Odii of Christ Embassy Church celebrated her 50th birthday at the Cornerstone, Christ Embassy Church, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, where she encouraged women to be diligent and hardworking in whatever field they find themselves.
Odii's Message to Women
She emphasized that women who give their best in their chosen fields would not only remain busy but also achieve financial independence. She called on women to work rather than rely solely on their men.
Her Journey with Christ Embassy
Recounting her experience with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the founder of Christ Embassy Church, Odii said: "I joined Christ Embassy Ministry in 1995. At that time, I was confused because I did not understand my identity. However, after receiving the right teaching from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, I became aware of who I am as a child of God. I also discovered my mission and purpose in life and the path to fulfilling them."
Odii noted that many people fail to achieve their life purposes because they do not know the word of God. She stated that the gospel of Jesus Christ gives meaning to our daily lives and enables us to impact others positively.
Winning Souls for Christ
"We are winning souls for Christ through the Rhapsody of Reality, the Healing Schools, and all the activities we undertake in the ministry," she said.
Celebrating 50 Years
Turning 50, she shared that she is celebrating life in Christ with understanding. "I understand my role in the gospel, so I am celebrating the opportunity God has given me to be 50 years old today. We are touching lives globally, so this is a celebration of life. It is an opportunity to thank God and the people in my life."
