Nigerian music star Davido has disclosed that his twin children, currently living in the United States, will relocate to Nigeria once his new mansion is completed. The Afrobeats singer made the revelation during a recent livestream with Davrel, offering fans a glimpse into his family's future plans.
Davido Reveals Twins' Return to Nigeria
Speaking on the livestream, Davido explained that he wants his twins to eventually live in Ede, Osun State, in what he described as their 'palace.' He emphasized that the move depends on the completion of his new home.
'Of course. They will go to Ede in Osun state. Definitely. My problem is just that I want the house to finish first. Once the house is done, they can come to their palace and live like king and queen,' Davido said.
New Mansion for Davido and Chioma
The singer also confirmed that he and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, have purchased a new, larger property. He noted that this is the first house he has bought in eight years and that the couple plans to move in within the next week.
'Me and my wife just bought a new house. Not the one I'm in now. We bought a bigger house now, in 8 years, so we're about to move like next week. The house very huge,' he added.
Davido tied his motivation for acquiring a larger home to his desire to provide his children with the same comfort his father gave him. 'I just want to do my kids like my daddy did for us. My daddy made us comfortable,' he said.
Grandfather's Private Jet Rule
During the livestream, Davido also shared a notable detail about his father, billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke: the grandfather insists that his grandchildren only travel on private jets, never on commercial flights.
'His grandchildren have never entered commercial flight. On grandpa's watch, you see? Except maybe their mama carry them on commercial flights. But when they are with family, when they are with grandpa, they fly private jet,' Davido explained.
The revelation highlights the affluent lifestyle of the Adeleke family and the singer's commitment to ensuring his children experience the same privileges he enjoyed growing up.
