Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke has issued a heartfelt plea to siblings who are currently feuding, urging them to reconcile and make peace before it is too late. The actor, who is an only child and recently experienced the loss of his mother, shared his personal reflections on the importance of family bonds.
A Message to Feuding Siblings
In a social media post, Okeke addressed those who have siblings but are not on good terms with them. He wrote: "Except you yearn to be like US... You best call that your brother/sister wey you dey quarrel with, make una settle the matter." His words serve as a warning to avoid the loneliness that comes with losing family connections.
Counting Siblings as a Blessing
The actor emphasized the value of having siblings, stating: "Count it therefore a privilege, a blessing, to have someone to disagree with, consult with, share things in common with, laugh with, and cry with. All of these, while knowing you share the same DNA." He encouraged his followers to cherish their relationships, even when disagreements arise.
Okeke also prayed for comfort for those who, like him, are "lone children" who have lost both parents. He asked God to send them friends who stick closer than brothers, offering solace in times of grief.
