Isaac Fayose's Viral Birthday Prayer: 'May Selfish Spirit Disappear'
Isaac Fayose's Birthday Prayer Against Brother's Selfishness

In a stunning social media revelation that has captured national attention, businessman Isaac Fayose has delivered a brutally honest birthday message to his older brother, former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, on his 65th birthday.

The Controversial Birthday Prayer

Rather than offering conventional wishes, Isaac Fayose took to Instagram with a video message containing what he described as a "unique" prayer. He specifically prayed that "the spirit of selfishness" would disappear from his brother as he entered this new phase of life at 65 years old.

In the emotionally charged video shared on Linda Ikeji's blog, Isaac didn't hold back his criticisms. "I pray as you enter this new age, the spirit of selfishness in you will disappear and you can be a good man and turn a new leaf," he stated directly to his brother.

Revelations of Family Betrayal

The businessman backed his claims with specific allegations of betrayal that spanned decades. He revealed a particularly poignant story from 23 years ago in 2002, when their late sister Bimpe made significant sacrifices for Ayo's political career.

"My sister late Bimpe sold her land in Maryland in Lagos for you to buy your PDP ticket when you didn't have money anymore," Isaac recounted. "She sold her land for N3 million and gave you the money to go and get the ticket."

Isaac emphasized that this pattern of behavior extended to their entire family. He claimed that during Ayo's birthday celebration, none of their siblings from their mother's side were present, including their mother herself, who allegedly wasn't even invited to the event.

Political and Personal Allegations

The younger Fayose didn't limit his criticisms to family matters alone. He accused his brother of forgetting everyone who helped him achieve political success, including the political party that brought him into the limelight.

"Everybody that has helped you in life to be where you are today, you betrayed everybody," Isaac declared in his viral message.

Despite the harsh criticisms, Isaac expressed hope that his brother would undergo a transformation. "As you have turned 65, I hope and believe you will turn a new leaf and change from being selfish," he concluded, leaving room for redemption in his brother's character.

The video has sparked widespread discussion on social media platforms, with many Nigerians weighing in on the unusual public family dispute involving one of the country's most prominent political families.
