A young man has taken to social media to share private moments with popular Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo following the announcement of his death after a long battle with cancer. The individual, identified as Lawrence David, expressed deep hurt and devastation over the loss, revealing the sweet names the actor fondly called him during their interactions.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, David bid farewell to the late star, writing: "Goodnight Ike m. Chief IKUKU of Arochukwu LGA. You really hurt me and the entire family members, but it is well, Ike m." He emphasized that the death was unexpected and has left both him and the actor's family in mourning.
Private Conversations Recalled
David shared details of their online chats, noting that Ekubo always addressed him with affectionate nicknames. He wrote: "You, every time we chatted, you normally call me by this name, my third baby in the house." He also revealed that the actor called him "my fast-rising model of the family," to which David would respond, "my light-skinned model."
Reflecting on the loss, David said: "Alex, I am totally hurt. Goodbye. Till we meet to part. No more." He described the actor as his favorite Nollywood star and expressed sorrow that they would never speak again.
