Man Slams Hypocrites Praising Alexx Ekubo After Death

A young man has expressed anger over the flood of tributes for late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, accusing mourners of hypocrisy. In a Facebook post, the individual, identified as I Am Untamed, recalled how the actor was bullied and trolled during his broken engagement saga months before his death.

Man Calls Out Hypocritical Mourners

The man noted that when Alexx Ekubo was going through his broken engagement, none of the people now eulogizing him stood up for him or defended his honor. He wrote: 'What annoys me the most is that when Alexx Ekubo was going through that broken engagement saga, none of these two-faced demons stood up for him or even tried to defend the man’s honour.'

He added that the actor was bullied on X (formerly Twitter), called 'Agaygay,' and trolled online. Despite this, many celebrities and fans now describe him as good and kind. The man questioned: 'Where were y’all when he was being bullied? Why didn’t y’all stand up for him? Why didn’t y’all put out beautiful testimonials about him at that time?'

However, Bawa Emmanuel offered a different perspective: 'When someone dies, it is normal as humans that we feel grief and pay our respect to the dead, not because they are perfect, but because we choose to remember them for the good things they did...
