Social media commentator Solomon Buchi has ignited a heated debate after asserting that married men who are active on Snapchat are either cheating on their wives or homosexual. In a recent Instagram video, Buchi described the platform as an 'online brothel' and questioned the motives of married men using the app.
Buchi's Strong Stance
In the video, captioned 'What are you doing on Snapchat as a married man? You're either cheating or you're gay,' Buchi criticized the app for its prevalence of explicit content. He argued that regular Snapchat use by married men indicates infidelity or dishonesty.
Buchi stated: 'I can never understand why a married man is on Snapchat. Whenever I see a married man who uses Snapchat very regularly, I believe you are cheating. There is something on that app because to me, that app is an online brothel. One of the top activities that happens on that app is sending and receiving of nudes. You cannot be serious with your life as a married man, even as a woman. I can understand women but what are you finding? Why are you active on Snapchat as a married man? Are you actually faithful to your wife? What are you hiding? What are you looking for? You can't be a regular user of Snapchat as a married man and be faithful. Honestly!'
Public Reaction
The video has sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting Buchi's views and others criticizing them as overly generalized. The post, shared by Linda Ikeji, has garnered significant attention on Instagram.
