Mother Collapses in Tears as Daughter Returns After 8 Years

A Nigerian lady living abroad has gone viral after sharing the emotional moment she surprised her mother following eight years of separation. The video, posted on TikTok by user @skiinniiee_fayfay, captures the mother's intense reaction as she sees her daughter for the first time in nearly a decade.

Surprise reunion after eight years

In the footage, the young lady arrives at a residential compound in a vehicle and initially stays out of sight. She asks a staff member to call her mother outside under the pretense of showing her something. When the mother walks out and spots her daughter standing by a silver car, she screams in disbelief. She immediately runs to hug her daughter before collapsing onto the brick pavement from shock.

Mother cries out in overwhelming emotion

The mother begins to weep loudly on the floor while holding onto her child tightly. Overwhelmed by the unexpected reunion, she cries out: "Patience what have you done to me." The daughter, named Patience, kneels down to comfort her mother and quickly reassures her: "Mummy I'm back on holiday I wasn't deported stop crying."
