Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have officially ended their relationship just five months after welcoming their first child together, a daughter named Scottie.
Relationship Breakdown Due to Work Demands
According to a report from The Sun, the couple's relationship crumbled under the pressure of Davidson's hectic work schedule following the birth of their baby on December 12, 2025. An insider revealed that Hewitt felt she needed more support from Davidson at home. “Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born,” the source explained. “It was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money.”
Focus on Co-Parenting
A separate source confirmed the split occurred recently, adding that both Davidson, 32, and Hewitt, 30, are now fully committed to co-parenting their daughter. “They are just focusing 100% on Scottie,” the insider said. “Working out the best co-parenting solution is their top priority.”
Background of the Relationship
The former couple began dating in early 2025. They announced the birth of their daughter via Instagram in December. Hewitt shared a series of photos from their first days as a family, captioning them: “Our perfect angel girl arrived 12/12/2025. Scottie rose hewitt davidson.” She added, “My best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief. – elsie.”
Earlier Struggles
Last summer, sources told The U.S. Sun about difficulties the couple faced as Hewitt navigated early pregnancy. According to one source, arguments became intense. “It’s getting out of control,” the source said. “They’ve even started secretly recording each other.”
