Portable's Alleged Wife Accuses Him of Abandoning 10-Year-Old Son, Reveals Past Deception
Fatima Momoh, a Nigerian lady who claims to be the wife of popular actor Olu Olowogemo, widely known as Portable, has publicly accused him of abandoning her and their 10-year-old son. In a series of emotional social media posts, Fatima shared details of their relationship, alleging that Portable left her when their son was just two years old, forcing her to raise the child alone while living in an unfinished building.
Shocking Revelations About Their Marriage
Fatima posted a picture purportedly from their marriage ceremony, stating that they met at Ire Polytechnic, where Portable came with his mother and brother Segun to ask for her hand in marriage. However, she revealed that after their wedding, Portable confessed to having five children with two other women, a fact she only discovered when she was eight months pregnant. She accused him of deceiving her into the marriage and named Fuji singer Pasuma as a witness to their union.
In her appeal, Fatima said, "Nigerians, please come to my rescue. I'm Fatima Momoh. Portable and I met at Ire Polytechnic. He came with his mother and brother Segun to ask for my hand in marriage. After we got married, he confessed to me that he had five children with two women in the past. As at when he told me this, my pregnancy was already eight months."
Amid Ongoing Controversy with Lizzy Anjorin
These allegations surface at a time when Portable is already embroiled in a heated social media feud with actress Lizzy Anjorin, adding another layer of controversy to his public image. The timing has fueled more online reactions, with netizens expressing mixed opinions on the matter.
For instance, one user commented, "He is busy defending Iyabo Ojo cos Lizzy didn't give him money when he asked for help. His just so misogynistic," while another noted, "I know this lady and her family. They stay around pleasure ilepo oke odo."
Portable's Recent Involvement in TAMPAN Issues
Previously, Portable waded into the ongoing issues faced by the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), criticizing how the association's leaders are being insulted. He expressed anger over social media star Esabod's comments about veteran actress Iya Awero, calling on TAMPAN members to defend their industry.
Portable stated, "According to him, he would not keep quiet if others decide to do so, adding that TAMPAN's president, Mr Latin, seemed to be scared of Esabod." This context highlights his active role in industry disputes, which now contrasts with the personal allegations against him.
Netizens React to the Allegations
The online community has been abuzz with reactions to Fatima's claims. Some users urged Portable to focus on his family issues, while others questioned his motives in other controversies. The situation has sparked debates about accountability and support within the entertainment industry.
As this story develops, it remains to be seen how Portable will respond to these serious accusations, which threaten to further tarnish his reputation amid existing feuds and industry tensions.
