Nollywood actress and businesswoman Tayo Sobola, popularly known as Sotayo Gaga, has cried out after being allegedly scammed of an undisclosed amount of money by impostors pretending to be industry colleagues.

In an emotional video shared on social media, the mother of one narrated her ordeal, explaining that two people approached her for help, posing as fellow practitioners. She said she was on her own when they came to her for assistance.
According to her, one individual lamented about needing to pay a child's school fees, using the identity of a colleague to gain her trust. Another person contacted her on WhatsApp, crying that her marriage was on the verge of collapse due to financial struggles.
Sotayo stated that she sold some of her personal items to help these individuals, only to later discover that some of them were scammers. The actress rained curses on the alleged fraudsters, switching between English and Yoruba to express her anger and frustration.
