Mike Tyson Recalls Catching Brad Pitt With Ex-Wife Robin Givens
Tyson Recalls Pitt With Ex-Wife Givens

Legendary American boxer Mike Tyson has opened up about a memorable encounter with Hollywood star Brad Pitt involving his ex-wife Robin Givens. During a candid interview on the podcast 'This Past Weekend' with host Theo Von, Tyson was asked if any man had ever stolen one of his girlfriends. He responded by recalling the time he discovered Givens with Pitt, long before the actor became a household name.

Tyson's Unexpected Discovery

'That's an interesting story. He didn't steal her from me, but me and my wife were going through a divorce,' Tyson explained. The boxer married actress Robin Givens in 1988, but the marriage ended in divorce just a year later. Tyson recounted visiting the house they once shared, only to find it empty. Then he saw Givens driving up in the BMW he had bought for her, with another person in the car.

'I thought it was one of her friends from 'Head of the Class' [the sitcom where Givens played Darlene Merriman from 1986 to 1991],' Tyson said. 'But it wasn't one of her friends. It was Brad Pitt trying to get some head. He wasn't Brad Pitt yet. I didn't know who the f*** he was... he didn't even have a car.'

A Story Repeated Over Time

This is not the first time Tyson has shared this anecdote. In his 2013 memoir, 'Undisputed Truth,' he wrote about the incident, describing Pitt at the time as 'a beach bum, a little nerdy.' Tyson added, 'You had to see the look on his face. He looked like he was ready to receive his last rites.' At that point, Tyson was the world heavyweight champion, widely regarded as 'The Baddest Man on the Planet.'

The story has resurfaced in light of Tyson's recent podcast appearance, offering fans a glimpse into the personal life of the boxing icon during a tumultuous period.
