A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has captured national attention after documenting the exceptional hospitality and generous gifts she received from villagers in her place of primary assignment in Benue State.

The corps member, who goes by the username @prettypetra4 on TikTok, shared a heartwarming video that quickly gained traction across social media platforms. In the clip posted on November 18, 2025, she showcased various food items and meals generously provided by the local community where she is serving.

The video reveals multiple scenes of villagers bringing her different provisions, including fresh fruits, peppers, potatoes, and even prepared meals. One particular moment shows a young man presenting her with assorted fruits, while other segments display the diverse range of foodstuffs she received from the welcoming community.

Location and Community Details Revealed

In her social media post, the corps member specifically identified her service location as Benue State, Ushongo Local Government Area, and mentioned that she is serving within the Tiv tribe community. She expressed genuine appreciation for the warm reception, captioning her video with the words: "These people are very welcoming."

The TikTok presentation also included footage of traditional meals provided by the villagers, with one particular soup identified by commenters as "pocho soup," a local delicacy typically served with fufu.
