Woman Conceives After 8 Years, Shares Emotional Journey

A Nigerian woman, Ramlat Ishaq Suleiman, has shared her emotional eight-year struggle to become a mother, highlighting the painful period of waiting, hoping for a miracle, and the societal pressure she endured.

The Kano-based makeup artist, who posted her story on Facebook on Saturday, April 25, 2026, revealed that she faced mockery and was called barren. However, she remained steadfast in her faith, whispering her pain only to Allah during the long nights.

“For 8 years, I carried a pain no one could see. A silence that echoed louder than any words,” she wrote. “They called me ‘barren.’ They looked at me with pity… sometimes with mockery.”

She continued: “They didn’t know the tears I cried in sujood, the nights I whispered my pain only to Allah. Month after month… year after year… nothing. Just waiting… hoping… breaking… and still believing.”

But now, she says, “Allah heard every silent du’a. Not one tear was wasted. Today, I carry my miracle in my womb. A reminder that Allah’s timing is never late.”

She declared: “What people used to call me is not my name. My name is ‘chosen,’ ‘remembered,’ and ‘blessed.’”

To every woman still waiting and hurting like she once did, she offered this message: “Hold on. Cry to Allah. Trust Him. Because one day, He will turn your pain into a testimony. The same people who called me barren will now witness the mercy of Allah in my arms.”
