Nigerian singer and songwriter Adekunle Gold on Thursday hosted an exclusive dinner in Lagos to celebrate his partnership with The Macallan, the single malt Scotch whisky brand, as its brand ambassador in Nigeria. The invitation-only event, held at Vici in Victoria Island, brought together about 50 guests from Nigeria's creative and entertainment industries for an evening centred on craftsmanship, excellence, and creativity.

Among those in attendance were his wife, singer Simi Kosoko, comedian Bovi, rapper Ladipoe, media personality Kaylah Oniwo, actress Teniola Aladese, stylist Ugo Mozie, content creator Enioluwa Adeoluwa, and actress Tomike Adeoye, among others. Guests were welcomed with a bespoke cocktail and entertained by a live four-piece string quartet that set the tone for the evening.
The programme opened with remarks by The Macallan's Brand Ambassador and Educator, Daniel Atteh, followed by an address from Hammed Adebiyi, Senior Brand Manager, West and Central Africa – Edrington Portfolio.

The evening also featured a three-course dinner paired with a guided whisky tasting. Organisers said the experience was designed to draw parallels between the maturation of a fine single malt whisky and the evolution of an artist over time.
