Nigerian socialite and businessman Paschal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has spoken out following his defeat in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for a House of Representatives seat in Imo State. He further disclosed that a party chairman allegedly purchased a brand-new car for him after his loss.
Chiefpriest Opens Up on TikTok
During a live TikTok session with popular content creator Peller, Cubana Chiefpriest addressed the criticism trailing his primary defeat. He contested for the APC ticket for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East federal constituency ahead of the 2027 elections but lost to incumbent lawmaker Canice Nwachukwu. Rather than showing disappointment, he surprised many with his reaction.
In the now-viral live session, the businessman claimed that influential figures within the APC are still showing him massive support. He stated, "To the people insulting me, APC is pampering me and the party is working to my favor." He added that a party chairman bought him a brand-new car, which would be delivered the next day.
