Rising Nigerian singer Elinala has officially signed with TheCAPMusic, marking a pivotal new chapter in her career ahead of her debut EP, scheduled for release next month. The announcement coincides with the drop of her latest single, “Ride,” which serves as the first official release under the label.
New Single and Apple Music Recognition
Elinala is currently featured as Apple Music’s cover star for Alpha Women, further cementing her status as one of the most promising emerging voices in Nigeria’s new-school music scene. Her melodic songwriting, emotional delivery, and distinct artistic direction have set her apart.
Label's Vision for Elinala
Speaking on the signing, Senior Artist Manager Kizito Ibezim praised Elinala’s individuality and creative potential. “From the beginning, what stood out was her identity,” he said. “There’s honesty in the music, there’s intention behind the artistry, and we believe people are going to connect with that in a real way.”
TheCAPMusic plans to develop Elinala’s sound, visual identity, and audience connection as she prepares for her first major release campaign. COO Tolulope Sodamola emphasized a patient approach: “We’re taking our time to build this properly. The music already speaks for itself, so the focus now is creating the right foundation around it and introducing her to the world the right way.”
Debut EP Details
While details about the EP remain under wraps, sources close to the project describe it as personal, atmospheric, and reflective of a new generation of African artists shaping their sound on their own terms. With more music expected in the coming weeks, Elinala’s signing represents a significant milestone for both the artist and TheCAPMusic.
