"While walking back home in 2019, the lyrics of the chorus, which are derived from Luke 1:37, completely overwhelmed my soul. This divine inspiration was later reaffirmed while I was listening to a sermon in church," he explained.
He further elaborated that the tragic loss of his beloved mother, Adetoun Sote, coupled with facing numerous other life challenges, significantly contributed to the formation and meticulous shaping of the song's verses prior to its recording in 2025.
"'Nothing's Impossible for You' expresses the heartfelt cry of someone who is placing their complete trust in God even when circumstances vehemently question their faith. Can God truly solve this problem? Can He heal, save, restore, or bring me out of the pit of despair when all hope appears to be lost?" Kasope queried rhetorically.
"I intentionally sang it in the first person with the specific intention that anyone can sing it to the Most-High as a powerful declaration of their personal faith in Him. I strongly believe this song will stir up renewed hope and unwavering faith in the hearts of everyone who listens, inspiring them to face seemingly impossible situations head-on while trusting God to provide the solutions. I am eternally grateful to my father, who taught me the invaluable art of perseverance and stood by me unwaveringly through those incredibly challenging times," added Kasope, who is the son of veteran journalist and columnist Lekan Sote.
