Nigerian street-pop sensation Seyi Vibez has announced his most ambitious musical project to date, titled Fuji Moto, scheduled for release on November 14, 2025.
Blending Heritage with Modern Street Energy
The album's title itself represents a fusion of musical traditions. Fuji pays homage to Nigeria's indigenous Yoruba music genre, while Moto captures the motion, energy, and relentless pace of street life. This hybrid approach promises to deliver both cultural depth and contemporary hype.
Born Oluwaloseyi Afolabi Balogun, the Lagos-born, Ikorodu-based artist has built his reputation by blending street-pop authenticity with infectious Afrobeats melodies. His upcoming project follows a series of successful releases throughout 2025.
Building on a Streak of Success
Earlier this year, Seyi Vibez released his EP "Children of Africa" featuring the single "Shaolin" and a collaboration with American rapper NLE Choppa. In May, he dropped the single "Pressure," which may have hinted at the direction of his new project.
His 2022 album, "Billion Dollar Baby," dominated charts and accumulated millions of streams, cementing his position as a major force in Nigeria's music industry.
A Landmark Year for Performances
Beyond studio recordings, Seyi Vibez has proven his mettle as a live performer. On August 23, 2025, he held a sold-out homecoming concert at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos, featuring Nigeria's first-ever 360-degree stage design. This groundbreaking production set new standards for live performances in the country.
The Fuji Moto project includes 14 tracks, with one song, "How Are You?", already available on Apple Music and previously previewed on Seyi Vibez' Instagram. Other confirmed tracks include "Mario Kart" and "Happy Song."
As anticipation builds toward the November 14 release, one thing remains clear: Seyi Vibez is accelerating toward what could be his most significant musical statement yet, merging traditional sounds with the vibrant energy of the streets.
