This initiative, known as Spotify 20, allows eligible listeners in Nigeria and Kenya to access their unique listening history, including their first day on the platform, the total number of distinct songs they have streamed, their first streamed song, their all-time most-streamed artist, and an All-Time Top Songs playlist featuring their top 120 tracks along with play counts.
Global Most-Streamed Artists and Content
As part of the anniversary celebration, Spotify has also released global rankings of its most-streamed content. The top three most-streamed artists of all time are Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, and Drake. Bad Bunny's album 'Un Verano Sin Ti' holds the record as the most-streamed album. The Weeknd's 'Blinding Lights' is the most-streamed song, followed by Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You'. The most-streamed podcast globally is The Joe Rogan Experience, while the most-streamed audiobook among Premium subscribers is Sarah J. Maas's 'A Court of Thorns and Roses'.
Nigerian Most-Streamed Artists
Earlier in 2026, Spotify marked its fifth anniversary in Nigeria, revealing the most-streamed artists in the country. Asake tops the list, with Wizkid ranking second. Seyi Vibez is third, followed by Burna Boy in fourth, and Davido rounding out the top five. These artists have achieved significant success on the platform through consistent releases and hit singles.
Spotify 20 also includes curated global playlists highlighting defining eras and cultural shifts from the past two decades, available in the Spotify 20 hub.
