Popular Nollywood comic actor Olatayo Amokade, widely known as Ijebu, has intervened in the ongoing public dispute between BBNaija season 10 winner Imisi and her mother, offering strong advice to the reality star.
Ijebu's Emotional Plea to Imisi
In a video shared on his Instagram page, the veteran actor directly addressed Imisi, urging her to end the public quarrel that began after she won the N150 million BBNaija prize. The conflict has played out extensively on social media, with both mother and daughter airing their grievances publicly.
Ijebu emphasized the biblical commandment to honor parents and made a specific request to the reality star. He stated clearly: "Imisi, I know you are a good girl. The Bible said we should honour our parents. This evening or tomorrow morning, I want you to visit your mother, go on your knees, hold her legs, and tell her you are sorry. Let her pray for you."
The Sacred Bond Between Mother and Child
The actor stressed that regardless of past difficulties or any neglect Imisi might have experienced, her mother deserves unconditional love, respect, and humility. He described the parent-child relationship as sacred, referring to mothers as "mini gods on earth" who warrant special reverence.
Ijebu issued a stern warning about continuing the public drama, expressing his frustration with the online dragging. He made his position clear: "After this, I don't want to hear any dragging again online. If I hear anything again, I will be so mad at you." The actor emphasized that continued public spats would damage Imisi's public image and strain their relationship.

Even though if her mom is guilty self she will be the one to beg her, and she should be thanking God that her mom is still alive and she is still seeing her."
