Close friends of the deceased, including actor IK Ogbonna and Francis Nwaogwugu Udochukwu, owner of Vintage Motors, were seen in Abia State making arrangements for the funeral service. They stood in front of a large marquee, planning the programs for the event. IK Ogbonna wore black as a sign of mourning, while Francis wore white. Two other men accompanying them were also dressed in black.
It was recently revealed that the late actor had been married, and his wife was unveiled, surprising many who did not know he had kept his marriage secret for a long time.
