Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has launched a fierce legal counterattack against her colleague Taiye Arimoro, completely rejecting his N100 million compensation demand and denying all allegations made against her.

In a fresh legal response issued through her legal team, Ovire described Arimoro's claims as "misleading, selective and materially false", accusing the actor of deliberately twisting the entire incident to suit his narrative. The legal documents reveal that the conflict began when Arimoro was asked to return to the film set but instead allegedly engaged in a heated confrontation that escalated dramatically.
According to the detailed response, the situation turned violent when Arimoro assaulted Production Manager Luke Obayi before allegedly head-butting Peggy Ovire's driver, Joshua Madu. The legal team emphasized that the attack left Madu bleeding from both ear and nose, with multiple witnesses present at the location providing statements to the police confirming Arimoro's aggressive behavior.
