Taofeek Opens Up About Wife's Betrayal and Paternity of Five Kids

Veteran Nigerian actor Abdul Salam Taofeek, widely known as Tioruju Mondusi, has opened up about the most painful chapter of his life, detailing how betrayal within his marriage left him devastated. In a candid interview on the African A-List podcast, Taofeek recounted the heartbreaking discovery involving his five children and his late wife's actions that deeply shook him.

Revelation About His Children

Taofeek narrated how his wife disappeared while nine months pregnant with their fifth child, only for him to later learn that she had secretly conducted an introduction ceremony with another man. He stated, "The only person that did the most painful thing to me in life is my wife. The incident brought tears from my eyes. She's late now; may God forgive her." The actor further revealed how his wife openly denied him as the father of her pregnancy, saying, "She returned to the house to abuse me and asked who told me that I'm the owner of the pregnancy."

Court Confession

The matter escalated in court, where she confessed that two of their five children were not his. Taofeek explained, "It was in the court that she confessed that the third and the last child were not mine. She has been going out with the man for many years." Despite the betrayal, Taofeek said his wife later begged him tirelessly for forgiveness, but the damage had already been done. She later died from depression after the man she left him for abandoned her to return to his family.
