Dr. Adebowale Adedokun Honored with HURIWA's 2026 Good Governance Human Rights Award
The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has officially declared Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, the Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), as the recipient of its prestigious 2026 Human Rights Award in the Good Governance category. This recognition follows an overwhelming and unanimous nomination by HURIWA members across the globe, highlighting Adedokun's significant contributions to enhancing transparency and accountability within Nigeria's public procurement framework.

In a detailed statement released from Abuja, HURIWA explained that the decision to confer this award on Dr. Adedokun was the result of a rigorous internal nomination process.
