Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman, in Kaduna. The arrest took place at 3:30 am on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, according to EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede.

Olukoyede confirmed that Mamman was apprehended along with two individuals who were allegedly protecting him. The house where the former minister was detained is currently under investigation.
